Renovation of Apartments in the Historic Center

The present study concerns the renovation of existing apartments located in the historic center of the city, aiming at their functional and aesthetic upgrade, with respect to the area’s distinctive character. The design seeks a balance between old and new, combining contemporary aesthetic choices with the authenticity of the existing building shell.

Through these interventions, the quality of the spaces is enhanced without altering the identity of the historic environment. Overall, the proposal contributes to the reuse of the existing building stock and to strengthening the sustainability of the historic center, preserving the continuity and character of the urban memory.
